Floating Grace MD Presented with Armed Forces Bronze Covenant Award

We’re delighted to announce that our managing director, Peter Kenny, has been awarded with an Employer Recognition Scheme Bronze Award from the UK Ministry of Defence (Defence Relationship Management). Peter formerly served in the Army Reserves and now runs the Liverpool based tour company that operates the Floating Grace, the Skylark and the Iantha providing trips on Liverpool’s dockland waterways, the Mersey and beyond.

Liverpool Boat Charter has always endeavoured to employ and support Army veterans with a programme of training and support which provides them with qualifications to skipper our vessels. It is a privilege and an honour to work with such motivated men & women from the Armed Forces as they posses a wealth of skill and experience that can be transferred to the wider civilian world in so many ways. It’s our ambition to further expand our relationship with the UK Ministry of Defence.
